Integrating STEM through Robotics in every classroom around the world.
Every spring student teams come together to compete in a rigorous challenge that will test their robotics programming skills. Student teams begin their competition at the school level and then advance through district and regional level competitions.
At each of the three levels of competition student teams are presented with an authentic robotics scenario and are challenged to program their robot to complete the task presented within a given time frame. The competition theme for 2015 was The Danger Zone and student teams had to program their robots to traverse and collect samples from an active volcano. In 2016 students blasted off on a Mission to Mars where they were charged with programming their robot to collect photo data from the surface of Mars.
